Well, to answer that question, Anna Scott's pediatrician just had her baby a couple of weeks ago, so we didn't get to see her for our 18 month visit. Anna Scott missed her so much! Though it wasn't the same, the other doctors took good care of us, and we didn't miss a beat. Anna Scott loves to read while waiting to be called by the nurse. She was reading to a little boy across the waiting room. That is who she is looking at in the picture below. :)
Anna Scott did not like the idea of sitting on the scale (what girl does?), so I mentioned the cars to distract her. She definitely didn't like the idea of posing for a picture while on the scale. :)
At 18 months, Anna Scott weighs 24.4 pounds and is 32 inches long. She is at the 50th percentile for weight and the 50th-75th percentile for height.
She loves the doctor's office because of the stickers. One on each cheek and one on her hand...
I didn't get any pictures during the exam this time around. Anna Scott reached her arms out for me to hold her, so I tossed the camera. We have a healthy baby girl and could not be more thankful. The doctor who saw us this visit did comment on Anna Scott's personality. She says she sees lots and lots of babies and that I am going to have one animated and fun child with lots of personality. I told her she will have to meet my husband one day. Then, she will know why. :) Never a dull moment with these two! I never stop laughing...
No kidding - this was Anna Scott's expression when the nurse walked in with the shots. "Uh oh."
Shots are no fun and someone took my smiley faces!!!!!
Just when she was about to scream, "I am never coming back to this place," the nurse gave her one more smiley face and she was happy once again. This was the only sticker that made it home with us, and Anna Scott wore it proudly for the rest of the day. :)
