The 2015 Alabama football season can be summed up in one word...Awesome. Well, except for that one loss to Ole Miss. Anna Scott and Will were eager to kick the season off in early September.
Anna Scott was covered in Bama from head to toe on team Fridays at school.
We enjoyed watching games from home...
...and traveling to Tuscaloosa for several games as well. Anna Scott was thrilled to get to meet the cheerleaders!
Anna Scott did great during the game. She was a good cheerleader! She sat with some of the coaches' children, so I am glad she was on her best behavior. :)
We loved meeting Big Al! He loved Anna Scott's shoes. :)
The second home game Anna Scott attended...
Alabama vs. Tennessee
She got to meet more cheerleaders this time!
She was ready to cheer on the TIDE with her daddy.
Papa gave Anna Scott a little lesson in football during the game.
I think someone was tired after all of that hard cheering.
Thankful for another big win.
We made it to the playoffs after beating Florida in the SEC Championship game. I had to work the week of New Years (in order to be off the week of Christmas), so we weren't able to go to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. I hated not getting to go because that is my favorite stadium, by far. I was glad my parents got to make the trip.
After defeating Michigan State in the playoffs, we were headed to the National Championship game in Phoenix, Arizona!
My parents had tickets to the game as well, but we kept it a secret from Dad until two nights before we left for the game. He turned 60 years old on the day of the game, January 11th. This was the perfect birthday surprise!
January 11, 2016. A beautiful day in Phoenix, Arizona.
So glad my aunt and uncle were able to make the trip as well. We had the best time!
Happy 60th Birthday, Dad!
Scott and I had great seats for what was going to be an incredible game. Both teams played great and fought until the bitter end.
The Tide wins their 16th National Championship!
We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted.
Alabama Football.
A season to remember.
Roll Tide Roll.
The 2016 football season isn't too far away! Tide fans, we will see you in Dallas!
