Easter Sunday

Easter happies for Allison and me (these are our baskets from childhood)

Allison made this cute Easter bunny cake.

With our precious Granny

Love these sweet (and handsome!) boys...

Easter basket from Scott's parents - cute idea!

The card read:  Enjoy your last Easter basket.....
There's a "new girl" coming to town!
You'll have to sneak candy from her basket from now on.  :)

Granny made this beautiful quilt just for Anna Scott.
She will love it!

Sadie looks like a pretty white bunny... so cute!

Enjoying a delicious Easter dinner

Easter egg hunt...

Hope everyone had a HAPPY EASTER!!!

Strike a Pose

Saturday was a beautiful day for a photo shoot! :)  Scott and I haven't had very many pictures together (just the two of us) during my pregnancy.  So, on Saturday morning, after a wonderful breakfast at Edgar's, my sister agreed to stroll through the Botanical Gardens with the two of us as our very own personal photographer!  She's not a professional (ha!) but she did a great job capturing the perfect shots.  Thank you Allison!

Arab Baby Shower

Arab Baby Shower
Sunday, April 10
@ the home of Mrs. Rava Tinley

Hostesses (minus a few who could not be there)

We will have 5 generations of girls when Anna Scott arrives.  She will be the first baby of the fifth generation!
My sister Allison and me

Granmom (my dad's mother) and me

Family

Childhood friends

A mother-daughter picture :)

Anna Scott's beautiful bracelet from my parents

Pajamas from Scott

Anna Scott's cradle: This was my cradle when I was a baby. My granny bought it 27 years ago for when she kept me at her house. Debra, Scott's mother, refinished it and made the bedding. This will be where Anna Scott sleeps during her first weeks at home. It is in our bedroom now, and I love looking at it each night before we go to bed thinking... "not much longer..." I think Anna Scott will love it.

This is a bonnet made by Scott's mother. It is made of fabric from Scott's great-great grandmother's handkerchief. The pearl buttons on each side are from Scott's baby sweater.

Anna Scott's swing from the Arab shower hostesses.  The Birmingham shower hostesses gave her pack-n-play, which matches her swing.

Anna Scott's stroller from my grandmother (GG) and my aunt Tracy.  You can also see her carseat sitting next to it - from Compass Bank (Scott's coworkers)

These flowers from the showers were so pretty on our Easter table when we got home!
