What's Up Doc?!?!

Anna Scott visited the doctor for her 4 month check-up on Tuesday.  She weighed 13 lbs 14 oz.  This is up from 9 lbs 14 oz at her 2 month check-up.  She has moved up from the 25th to the 50th percentile for weight!  She is 25 inches long, which puts her at the 75th - 90th percentile for height.

Anna Scott put on a real show for her doctor at this visit.  She made all kinds of noises, was very squirmy,  and tried her best to roll off the exam table.  :)  She did all she could to show Dr. McCain that she has come a long way since 2 months old.

Anna Scott passed her exam with flying colors.  Dr. McCain was so proud.  She said, "Anna Scott is just perfect," and what the doctor says goes!  :)  This was Anna Scott's well baby check up, but she did have a little cold, so it was a great time to have an appointment.  I think she is better now, so hopefully we are making progress.  On the other hand, I caught the bad cold/stomach bug and felt terrible yesterday.  I spent the day on the couch.  So,  Scott has had his hands full taking care of two sick girls.  Stuffy noses and upset stomachs are just no fun!

Anna Scott will start eating rice cereal from a spoon around 5 months old and then will start baby food around 6 months old.  She can't wait to finally have something besides a warm bottle of milk!  We will have the camera out and ready for this messy adventure, so stay tuned.

Look at this cute little patient and her WubbaNub friend.  What would we do without it?  :)

Anna Scott had a happy appointment until it was time for those dreaded vaccinations.  She got the same three as last time...  1 oral vaccine and 2 shots.

She was a trooper.  After shedding just a few tears, she was her bright eyed self again.

She is very proud of her 4 month stats and wants to show them to you herself this time...

Truth is, she would not leave that paper alone when I laid it in her lap, so this is the best I could do.  We are thankful for a happy and healthy baby!
