A dream is a wish your heart makes...

The Laneys traveled to Disney World in January.  Anna Scott was 3 years and 8 months old.  I was 4 months pregnant with baby number two.  We had a magical time!  I can honestly say that I have never been more exhausted than when we returned home from this vacation.  We got to our house, sent Anna Scott home with the grandparents, crawled in bed at 11:00 am, and slept the rest of the day (and night).  Vacation is probably not the most accurate term for a trip to Disney World with a three year old while pregnant, however experiencing Anna Scott's dreams come true, again and again, made the exhaustion completely worth it.

We were thrilled that Mama D and Papa made the trip with us!

Up bright and early!  Ready for take-off...
We flew out the morning of Monday, January 26th - my 31st birthday.  In order to be off the weekend we returned home (which proved to be a good plan), I worked the weekend before we left, so I was post call that morning.  Yes, I was exhausted from the get-go.

Our first half-day was spent at Animal Kingdom.  During the Lion King show, Anna Scott was chosen to participate in the parade.  She had a ball.

Bippity Boppity Boutique!  (Magic Kingdom)  Anna Scott is very tender-headed, and she is crying in the next picture because her head was hurting after her fairy godmother brushed through her tangles.

Anna Scott meets Winnie the Pooh and Tigger

Dancing with Donald.  One of my favorite pictures.  I'm sure Donald Duck would be honored to know this picture is framed and on display in our house because this was one of our most precious moments during the trip.

Anna Scott's favorite part of Disney was getting to meet the princesses and the characters and getting their signatures in her little autograph/picture book.  We still sit down with that book from time to time and read the signatures over and over again.

Our biggest and best surprise of the trip was seeing Granmomma and Grandaddy as well as Aunt Tracy standing outside the Winnie the Pooh breakfast one morning.  We had no idea they were coming!  Needless to say, we were shocked and so happy that they had come to experience a little piece of the magic with us!

Storytime with Belle was another favorite.  Anna Scott participated in the story three different times.  She was Mrs. Potts during the story below.

These two became the best of friends!

Dancing with Sofia!

One of my favorite parts was the production and the fireworks at Magic Kingdom each evening.  Anna Scott never took her eyes off Cinderella's castle (where the show was taking place).  I tried my best to watch closely as well, but it was hard to take my eyes off of her sweet face.  I never want to forget...

Anna Scott said one last goodbye to Snow White in the airport before traveling home in her pajamas.  She was too tired to change into "real clothes."  :)

So long Disney World.  Our little princess had a wonderful time.  See ya again real soon!

P.S.  If you find that Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella are missing, they may just be at Anna Scott's house.  We will bring them back, we promise!
