Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

First things first... We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  There is nothing I love more than spending time with family.  Not to mention, we have one more person to be thankful for this year.  She loved having her own place at the table to enjoy her green beans, sweet potatoes, and squash.

My heart is full of gratitude for what God has done for our family of three.  We are blessed beyond measure and forever grateful to Him.

On another note, we will always remember Anna Scott's first Thanksgiving meal.  She had her biggest poop ever while sitting at the table.  Let's just say, it required a good bath to clean her up!  I love her expression after her bath...  "Oops!  Too many sweet potatoes."

Per the title of this blog, we have been having lots of fun with Anna Scott.  Below are some photos from our recent play dates and adventures.  She is growing so quickly.  As they say, time flies when you're having fun!

We took Anna Scott to her first Alabama football game a few weeks ago (against GA Southern).  It was the first time we needed three tickets to enter Bryant-Denny stadium, hence the photo above.  She did great until the crowd cheered and scared her to death (I can't imagine why!).  Luckily, she and I were able to go inside, where we stayed put for most of the game.  I ate lots of good food, held my sweet girl, and watched the Tide Roll.  It was a perfect day.

We are thrilled about Alabama's chance to play for another National Championship.  Roll Tide!

One afternoon, we picked McNeill up from daycare for a play date.  At the time, McNeill was 8 1/2 months old and Anna Scott had just turned 6 months old.  I love watching them play.  These girls already know how to have fun!

More photos of fun with Anna Scott...

We are so excited about Anna Scott's first Christmas!  I hope she likes Santa Claus!  :)  It is such a busy time of year, and traveling for residency interviews only adds to an already too busy December.  But, in all of the hustle and bustle, we have to turn our focus to the true Reason for the Season, Jesus Christ.  He was born to be our Savior, and we will worship Him in all we do.  I will be posting some Christmas pictures soon, but in the meantime, let's kick off the Holidays with a face full of Christmas cheer!

It just doesn't get any merrier than this!  :)
