Cruise Vacation

Scott and I took a cruise vacation to Cozumel the week before Thanksgiving.  We went with 3 other couples (no babies) and had the best time.  Our Royal Caribbean ship (pictured above and below) was named Liberty of the Seas and was absolutely amazing!  On board were 3 pools, many hot tubs, a theater, a basketball court, a showroom (showing the broadway show Saturday Night Fever and the cirque du soleil show On Air), a few dance clubs, a piano bar, an ice skating rink, a mall, a casino, several restaurants, a large main dining room, a karaoke bar, a spa, an extra large/nice workout facility, a running track, rooms to house over 4,000 people, and much more!

We had a delicious dinner at Casablanca Cafe in Ft. Lauderdale the night before we left on our cruise.

Here is our group just after boarding the ship.

One of the first things we all wanted to do was put on our swimsuits and soak in the hot tub...

We loved laying out by the pool, not only because of the beautiful weather and endless sunshine, but also because of the all you could eat soft serve ice cream.  :)

Here we are before dinner the first night.  We had just sailed away from Ft. Lauderdale...

Beautiful dining room!

I enjoyed this tasty dessert.  I am an ice cream lover.

We hit the dance club after dinner most nights.  Good times!

Here we are before dinner on formal night.

After sailing for a day and a half, we arrived in beautiful Cozumel.  This is where we spent one whole day of our vacation.  Wish our time here could have been longer.

Before leaving Cozumel, we had to get Anna Scott a couple of surprises.  :)

One of the best parts of our trip was watching Baylor beat Kansas State and Stanford beat Oregon on Saturday night.  We weren't expecting this to happen (at least not both), but as Alabama fans, we weren't at all disappointed.  :)  We watched the games on a HUGE television screen over the pool on the boat deck.  Awesome.

On our way back home, our boat sailed under a rainbow.  It was picture worthy.

Last but not least, one night we came back to our room to find this little creature.  Our sweet stateroom attendant had a good sense of humor.

This vacation was all it was cracked up to be and more!  We loved every minute and were so thankful for the little getaway.  But while the trip was wonderful, we had never been more anxious to get home.  I thought I would die before I got to squeeze Anna Scott.  I could hardly wait.  Needless to say, it was a sweet little reunion.  I picked her up, held her tight, and she wouldn't let me put her down.  Then, she looked at my Mom, waved and said, "Bye Bye!"
